Arms and legs held in an elegant posture, a beautiful ballerina centers this evocative composition by Brazilian artist Simone Araújo. Says the artist, "I was inspired by the liberation of women, the freedom to express feelings to show the lightness of a dancer." Araújo paints in an expressionist style, portraying the dancer against an abstract background in tones of brown and orange.
