Signed Ceramic Aztec Tlaloc Replica Vessel, "Blue Aztec Rain God"

A fearsome visage with a mouthful of fierce fangs depicts Tlaloc, the Aztec god of rain. With his characteristic round eyes, Tlaloc is the Aztec god of rain and lightning. Artisans from the Angel Ceron Artisan Association create their own conception of an ancient polychrome vessel. The original piece inspiring their design can be seen in the Museo Del Templo Mayor in Mexico City.
