Signed Black and White Seascape Painting from Ghana, "Safety"

Working with black ink on paper that is etched with a razor, Ghanaian artist Ed Franklin Gavua creates a painting of fantasy and intrigue. A school of fish gathers in safety just under the ocean's surface, which churns just above. Sailors on boats face a much more dire situation, paddling their boats furiously to escape the torrential waves.
