Nothing is more appropriate for Christmas than this cheerful set of four decorative ornaments. Alex Mermao in Peru crafts the ornaments with calabash gourd, which he hand-carves and then finishes with geometric designs inspired by the Amazon using acrylic paint.

"Boopable!"
This little fellow sits on a table near our entry, and his little bobble head gets frequent gentle hello boops. We are enjoying this fun addition to our home from a faraway land!

"Love this little guy!"
This tortoise is just adorable! I get so many compliments on him. Love the wood its made from as well. May buy a couple more to give as gifts.
