Designed as a wall hanging by Ghanaian artisan Salihu Ibrahim, this decorative accent is hand-carved of sese wood to depict a man with an antiqued finish. Sticks like this are part of a tradition within Africa's Guro tribe, often reserved for men who are heads of households.

"Butterfly Bird Mask"
This is outstanding! It hangs near our stairs after coming in the front door of the house. The craftsmanship is exquisite, and the colors flow into the space. When hung on a single hook it hangs at a slight angle, but I feel that accentuates it.
