Sese Wood Female Decorative Wall Accent from Ghana, "Guro Woman"
Perfect for hanging on a wall, this decorative accent from Ghana is carved by hand of locally-collected sese wood to depict a proud woman, given an antiqued finish. Sticks like these are part of an important tradition for members of the Guro tribe, given to women who are heads of households. Salihu Ibrahim designs the wall accent, working with local artisans to create it.

"Butterfly Bird Mask"
This is outstanding! It hangs near our stairs after coming in the front door of the house. The craftsmanship is exquisite, and the colors flow into the space. When hung on a single hook it hangs at a slight angle, but I feel that accentuates it.
