Joias do Rio of Brazil presents a stunning figurine of a butterfly resting on an outcropping. The butterfly's wings are carved from verdant green serpentinite with a body of brass. The butterfly rests on a rugged nugget of amethyst that sparkles as the light catches the myriad facets of the crystals. The butterfly is removed from the amethyst for easy shipping.

"Cute and great for the price!"
I like amethyst and I love parrots, and while this collective had several pairs of little parrots on amethyst, this one just spoke to me. Its not one of my absolute favorite items in my collection mostly because the rough sides of the amethyst bases are out the side and this limits how you can display them. However they were pretty affordable, especially as crafts from Brazil go, and I certainly dont regret buying them. The birds themselves are great! These are some of the smallest stone birds I have in my collection, and the detail achieved at that level is impressive!
