Featuring a solid green hue with a distressed finish, this decorative vase from Thailand is created by Daeng Thanunchai. He works with bamboo, crafting the decorative vase by hand in a basket-weaving style. The exterior of this round vase is treated with lacquer for a shining finish.

Lacquerware is not dishwasher safe. If cleaning is needed, simply clean with a damp cloth and never use any type of abrasive cleaner.

“What an amazing piece of art”

I was blown away when this beautiful vase arrived at my home. Its amazing to know that it is made from bamboo and lacquer - even from its light weight one would not guess how it was made. Daengs work is superior in its artistry, the colors shimmer and the finish is truly breathtaking. There arent enough superlatives... This was a gift and the recipients love it and were just as amazed with it as was I. It was so tempting to keep it!
