Hues of sepia and black wrap the neck with warmth. Inspired by themes of the Inca cosmovision, Peruvian artisan Waldo Berrios creates this reversible scarf, which is knit from an alpaca blend. Sun motifs and waves of yellow and red decorate this men's cold weather accessory.

"This scarf was a gift"
I selected this on the basis of a photograph of it. I found the design sufficiently unique to make it a suitable gift for a relative for Christmas. It would be intrusive to ask the recipient for his rating of his gift, and so of course I did not. I would certainly use the NOVICA catalog again when looking for either a gift for others, or for my own use.

"Comfy and beautiful ruana"
The material is a blend that includes 5% wool. Unfortunately, I have allergy to wool and my neck itches when I wear the ruana directly on the skin. This problem is easily solved but I would encourage Mr. Berrios to consider replacing wool with a different material, maybe more alpaca wool in the blend.

"This is my new favorite cool-weather wrap"
This is so gorgeous and warm and stylish! I love indigenous patterns and artisan work, and this is my new favorite topper for cool weather (I live in LA). I wore it to an art event with jeans and plan to wear it to dressy events as well. I love that it is reversible also, so you can emphasize either the black tones or the brown tones.
