The artisans use only natural dyes obtained from local materials, and the wool is woven on a traditional pedal loom. The off-white cotton canvas back features a zipper for the easy insertion of a cushion.

"Best bag"

"Beautiful...Wool not Cotton"
First let me say that these are beautiful and will be featured in my new great room when the house is finished. That said...the description is inaccurate and should be corrected. They are made of hand woven wool, not cotton. I specifically chose these pillows because I thought cotton pillow covers would be more comfortable than wool. Nevertheless, they are lovely and will be treasured.I still gave 5 stars because the craftsmanship is so nice. I cannot fault the artisan for Novicas inaccurate description.

"Love it!"
This is a wonderful addition to our sunroom, where we have one other Zapotec pillow, and now the two pillows match the handwoven rug we also ordered on Novica. The three items complement the walls that I painted to match the pillows (teal and burgundy). My husband and I both say it is our favorite room in the house.

"Amazing design, great quality!"
This is an amazing example of Indigenous craftwork and amazing traditional design. The quality is just awesome and the natural dyes provide vibrant colors for any space. Id definitely recommend purchasing this item!
