Recycled Metal and Auto Parts Collectible Yoruba Wall Mask, "Yoruba Personage I"
Kola Ogunsunlade Joseph creates a stunning reinterpretation of an ancient Yoruba mask used during traditional masquerades to give a visible presence to the spirit world. "I used materials like metal plates, car parts and found objects which I welded and finished with clear vanish," explains the Ghanaian artist. It takes Joseph three to four days to craft this admirable design.
