Hand-carved from a single piece of sese wood, this African mask depicts a serene face with heavily lidded eyes. Ghanaian artisan Abdul Aziz Mohamadu creates this mask; the forehead is decorated with brass diamond patterns, while colorful beads of recycled glass accentuate the cheeks. This mask is named Onyeisi, which means "winner" in the Igbo language of Nigeria.

I was able to purchase the elephant, rhino and giraffe by the the same artist at a garage sale. This is a perfect companion to all my African art. Love it

This mask has been hanging on the wall in our living room for the past couple of years. It has a great finish and gives a warm, welcoming and interesting feel to the room. Very happy with it.
