For this magical pair of dangle earrings, Thai artisan Michael Krainer uses Roman glass, which is recovered from ancient pots and tableware from archaeological dig sites that are up to 2,000 years old. The glittering Roman glass is formed into rectangles and round shapes, framed by sterling silver.

"Perfection"
I have to admit to being obsessed with Roman glass as part of my fascination with history. Being able to wear even a tiny shard of an object once crafted by artisans two millennia ago feels very special to me. Having it lovingly re-crafted by a modern artisan into something so luminous and gorgeous feels like a real gift. These are lovely. The color is vibrant and really pops whether coordinated with a similar cool palette or contrasting with black or navy blue. The scale of this pair is much smaller than the other Roman glass earrings I own, so its just perfect to wear for casual, business, or dress occasions. The shape is so flattering and elongates the neck of the lucky person wearing these! These earrings will NEVER go unnoticed and I receive non-stop compliments and inquiries whenever I wear my Roman glass.

These are smaller than expected, and slightly different in shape than the picture. I do like that they hook in the back so as not to get lost because they are very light weight.

"Beautiful Glow"
I wear these all the time. I am a huge fan of Roman glass so these are perfect for me. I wear them 24/7 when I choose them and can sleep in them, theyre so comfortable. These can be dressed up or down for any occasion and have a lovely glow to them. Gorgeous!
