Boats crowd a busy harbor where fishermen tie up for a long night's rest. Reflected in the glassy water, the vessels display the accoutrements of their trade. "I would like to present the life of fishermen in the south of Thailand," Seksan Sing-on explains. "You can see the fresh squid they have caught. This was painted at Khanom, Nakornsrithammarat." The artist works in watercolors.
Chaao-Lay means "fishermen" in the language of Thailand.
