Photo Print of Traditional Ceremonial Pataxó Man, "Tigê Pataxó, The Warrior"

From a special project to record the indigenous Pataxó peoples of Brazil and their customs, photographer Thalles Tramon captures this excellent photograph. The original print captures a Pataxó man preparing himself for the sacred full moon ceremony. The artist was moved to record the lives and ceremonies of the Pataxó peoples in Bahia, who struggle to preserve the embattled forests.

From the sales of these prints, the artist is donating 30 percent to the Pataxó Cultural Center of Porto do Boi.
