This shoulder bag is inspired by the backpacks used by the Chasquis in pre-Columbian times. The Chasquis were the messengers of the Inca Empire who traveled between cities to get the news and laws of the monarch. In their backpacks, they usually carried coca leaves to chew on to give them energy to continue their route. This beautiful bag is handcrafted from natural brown sheep leather and features a removable strap that allows the handbag to double as an attractive wristlet.
