Peruvian Huamanga Stone Nativity, "Christmas is Peace"

Juan Licas Coronado adapts the shape of the traditional chullo hat to create a warm, snug environment. Inside, the Holy Family kneels together with the Three Kings to adore the newborn Jesus. For this sculpture, the artisan selects stone quarried in Huamanga in the central sierra of Peru. Its texture and color are similar to alabaster.

"Lovely Nativity"
This is small and unique. Very nice quality and detailed so you can really tell that this is a nativity even as small as it is. I collect nativities and find this one unique. Also, the size is a benefit.

"Gorgeous, but fragile"
I was really happy and sad when I received this piece. Happy because it was really nice, and I knew my sister was going to love it. Sad because I didnt get one for myself. I wouldnt recommend it if youre in a high wind area. it may not survive.
