Delivery EstimateThis authentic panpipe is called a zampoña - the flute of the Andes that dates back to the Inca empire. The instrument, crafted of bamboo, is comprised of a concave arrangement of 23 pipes. Each pipe is slightly shorter than the next, and each one produces a unique pitch.
The flute arrives in a carrying case that emulates handloomed Inca textiles.

"Just what I wanted"
I ve been haunted by the sounds of the pan flute ever since I came back from a trip to the Andes. I hope I will be able to do justice to this beautiful instrument. It s masterfully constructed and has a lovely sound even though I m still learning how to play.

"Lovely wind instrument!"
I bought this a few years ago. I really love it! Beautiful tone. Wonderful instrument and easy to carry anywhere. Beautiful carrying case as well.

"Greatly disappointed!"
Im sorry, but I must say that I am quite disappointed because two of the pipes arrived with large cracks in them. One of the pipes is totally unplayable. I am heartbroken! I will keep this instrument and may be able to fix the pipe that will not play (Im checking with flute makers to learn how to do this), but the whole experience was very disheartening! The bag is lovely, but the instrument is compromised.
