Carved from mahogany, a succulent pear holds a sweet surprise. Diego Mendoza exalts the natural color of the tropical wood with this sugar bowl and saucer. Dark cortez wood forms the leaf, while a serving spoon is carved from the wood of the coffee tree root. "Pears are delicious!" the Guatemalan artisan says.
