Elaborately rendered cranes set in a natural environment of bamboo adorn the exterior of this saa paper parasol from northern Thailand. Hand-painted with oils, this parasol by Nikom may be used in the sun or simply to enhance any home interior décor.

"Pleasant Surprise"
Not just beautiful, but very well made. A very solid parasol with beautifully detailed painted artwork of painted Crane. I still have it, and it still works, up and down__3 years later!!!

"Excellent Parasol"
I live in TX, these are great and I always receive so many compliments for them. I wish they came with a business card for the artist, I would give them out to everyone who asks about them

"Elegant Sunshade"
The craftsmanship is just wonderful. I love the careful detail of the painting and the entire construction. Now I have something lovely when I walk in the sunshine. I plan to buy more as gifts. This was a great discovery for me.

"Just Love This Umbrella"
This colorful, lovely work of umbrella art would have been perfect except I have a hard time opening it completely. Could it be due to my age(78)? I would like to find out if you also create smaller versions of these umbrellas, Mr. Nikom. I believe they are called monks umbrellas in Thailand. I would like to purchase at least half a dozen of them to give away as gifts if you do.

"Gorgeous!"
Gorgeous way to shade yourself from the hot sun while you are out and about at the farmers market or a festival or whenever you need shade! The painting on the canvas is bright, vibrant and beautiful! I highly recommend any of the items from Nikom!

"Protect your skin with style and grace"
I wanted a feminine, delicate-looking (yet sturdy) parasol to wear with Regency period costume. This fit the bill perfectly, and also looks smashing with modern-day clothes. And, of course, it keeps my fair skin cool and shaded from the summer sun.
