Artisan Winfred Korley crafts a charming pair of fertility dolls, rich with significance. The woman holds her stomach, and the man does so as well in solidarity, showing his support in maternity. Each figure is carved by hand from native sese wood and adorned with jewelry of recycled glass beads. Fertility dolls such as these are common in West Africa, carried by women who are hoping to conceive.
