Painting of a Weaver and Teacher in Thai Temple Style, "The Weaving"

Dressed in the style of Northern Thailand from centuries past, a young woman works at her loom while her teacher supervises the work. The barefoot weaver holds the comb in place with one hand while reaching into a red bowl. Pathawee brings his own interpretation to a temple painting at Wat Phumin. Written at the top of the composition in the old script of Northern Thailand, the inscription says "A woman in the village comes to study weaving from the teacher." The sentence to the right says "Let's add a little more yellow. There isn't enough pattern."
