Among splashes of earthy color and vibrant hues of green one can make out the form of a typical West African lorry. These lorries, affectionately called trotros, are a common form of transport to and from the market. Tro is a Ga word meaning "three pence," which is what it once cost for transportation during colonial times. Robert Osei Anim masterfully uses acrylics to paint a unique vision of an everyday sight in West Africa.
