A reverent couple pays tribute to the Virgin Mary and the Holy Trinity. They hold their little daughter's hands, while the father embraces a baby girl. "Devotees attribute all their accomplishments to the religious figures and saints to whom they pray. They have faith," Telma Morais affirms. "Here, they stand before painting of the Holy Trinity — Father, Son and Holy Spirit. They make a pilgrimage to the churches and shrines, narrate testimonies and give thanks for the miracles received through prayer and penitence to the Holy Spirit." Telma Morais selects a bright palette of clear colors in a portrait of Brazilian people of faith.
Titled "Os Devotos" in Portuguese.
