Original Acrylic and Pencil Artwork of Parthenon, "Monuments of the World: Par..."

Mexican artist Humberto Sosa pays tribute to the great monuments of the world in this original series. Working in acrylic paints and pencil on wood board, the artist renders a sketch of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece. The structure was built as a temple dedicated to the goddess Athena; however, it was also used as the city's treasury.
