Oaxaca Floral Vase, "Floral Ruffles"
Incised by hand into a ceramic vase with a ruffled lip, joyous dahlias bloom. Anakarem works in the time-honored black pottery tradition of Oaxaca, with techniques learned from her father. The fired clay is burnished to a sheen with a piece of quartz or obsidian.

"Bigger than I imagined"
Beautifully crafted and gives off a nice heat with a candle inside. The patterns of light it casts in the mantel are beautiful. Im so happy with this purchase.
