John Barrow celebrates the first Christmas with this exquisite nativity scene. Sleek and modern, the petite figures are carved from native ishpingo wood and stained in deep, rich colors. The Three Kings with their camel make their way to the stable where an angel protects the Holy Family. A shepherd, cow, donkey and three sheep keep watch beneath a palm tree.

"Truly an heirloom"
I collect nativities and this one stands out among many and visitors in our home regularly single it out for comment. Love it! Excellently carved and carefully painted and glued. Lovely work of art.

"Beautiful Nativity"
It?s beautiful. I originally purchased the smaller 8pc set and was immediately disappointed that I hadn?t bought the larger 17pc set. It was so beautiful, I wanted more. So I returned the smaller set and purchased the full set and I am so glad I did. I wanted a nativity where the figures where abstract (I didn?t want specific faces or races). It?s colorful. It?s detailed yet simple. I love that the pieces can face any direction and look great. I love it and look forward to setting it up each year.

"Art for the heart"
In the past I have bought this artist s work in Peru and was thrilled I could order additional pieces from Novica to add to my collection. Not only was I able to order pieces I had not seen in Lima, it they were less expensive.
