Seguso Family artisans create this magnificent art glass vase. Colorful stripes climb from the crystalline base along its voluptuous curves. Its vivid elegance conjures the color of Carnaval or a circus. The Seguso family has lived in Murano, Italy since the 1300s. Mario Seguso moved to Brazil in the 1950s and his family carries on his masterful blown glass techniques.

"Exceptional Value"
This little glass bird is absolutely beautiful and expertly crafted. Such a great little accent piece. I bought as a gift and may have to buy one for me too! Love it. More than worth the price.

"A lovely gift!"
I have now purchased three of these lovely Confetti Canary paper weights as well as one of the solid canary ones, all as gifts. They have been well received, and they are wonderful small, thoughtful gifts.

Preserving Traditions
Mario Seguso, the patriarch of the Seguso Family, was born in 1929 in Venice, Italy to one of the oldest and most famous blown glass artisan families on the island of Murano. His ancestors have crafted art glass since 1300. In 1956, Mario created his own workshop in Brazil. He has passed on his knowledge to his sons, grandsons and the artisans working with him. He is proud to have many assistants and to have trained eight glass masters in his workshop.
