"Extremely beautiful."

I received this beautiful art piece for Christmas. Looking into the bowl I wonder what the artist was thinking as he made it. not only is the inside beautiful but the profile actually makes me think of rolling sea waves. From sand to crystal , magical. This beauty will now grace my home thanks to the hard work and imagination of a very gifted artist.

"Superb Craftmanship"

I was looking for something ornamental to put in the lighted niche just inside the entryway to my home. I knew that I wanted something glass that was handblown, and I wanted it to match the color of the d?cor inside my dining room and living room (earth-tone beige, cherry finish, brown marble.) After looking for a few weeks I came across Novicas website and found the Smoky Amber vase made by the Molinari family. The size and color of the vase were perfect for what I wanted to put in the recess. When I received it, I was astounded at the heft of the piece and how perfect the curves and smoky amber colors were. Well worth the money and wait for international shipping. Novicas customer service reps were knowledgeable and helpful when ordering, and I even received a 10% discount since it was my first purchase with them. I really want to decorate more of my home with pieces from the Molinari family due to their superb craftmanship!

Antonio Carlos and his brother, Paulo Molinari, learned the ancient hand-blown glass technique as apprentices of the Italian master, Aldo Bonora, who came to Brazil from Murano Island. After eight years, they opened their own workshop in 1962. Considered among the most brilliant and talented hand-blown glass makers in the country, they have trained a number of glass artisans and have formed masters that have worked with them for more than 30 years.
More than fifty years ago, Antonio Carlos and Paulo Molinari set up their workshop with a small group of artisans. Today they have trained many more artisans and family members, who all work with them.
This artist is an elder master and continues to actively practice their craft.
