Twinkling stars illuminate cattle that graze by moonlight in the blue night. Sajad creates dazzling images on an exquisite rug. Brown, burgundy, blue and green, the intricate patterns are drawn on a cotton backing, and embroidered by hand with soft woolen floss. The technique of chain-stitched rug crafting was introduced to India by Persia in 1460.
