Details

A symbol of the Hindu Renaissance, Banarasi silk is nothing short of luxurious. India's Madhu Agrawal presents this flavorful wrap scarf, woven by hand of fine Banarasi silk on a Jacquard pit loom. The shimmering, colorful stripes are achieved using the ikat technique, where the threads are tie-dyed before being woven into this lovely accessory. The width of the scarf allows it to double as a shawl.

Dora

Although the scarf is too short for what I need, I will still use it. It is beautiful.

Gabriella

I have just received the Pink Glory shawl and I am delighted with it. The packaging itself was beautiful, but the only word for the shawl is 'ravishing'. It is a splendid shawl. The only downside is that now my sister wants to steal it!

I love my new Varanasi silk shawl, 'Paisley Dusk'! The design and weaving are so fine and it is a delight to wear. Thank you.
