Details

Narrow bands of olive, artichoke, teal and ginger mingle with chestnut and goldenrod to create exuberant stripes in a scarf of rich, warm color. Working on a backstrap loom, Maya artisans from K'amolon K'i K'ojonel transform soft rayon chenille made from bamboo into a beautiful handwoven design. "We call this collection 'Woven with Love' because, as we weave them, we feel productive and creative. We share them with much love for the world," the artisans confide.

The colors are fabulous, but the touch and feel of this scarf had me sold as soon as I opened the beautiful box it was packaged in! Love, love, love!

I am very pleased with the beautifully woven fall colour scarf. Tightly woven, soft and gorgeous. I just wish there wasn't duty payable between Guatemala and Canada.
