Macaws with feathers in the colors of the rainbow are perched on a tree from the Peruvian Amazons. John Barrow uses natural dyes to color the pieces of wood for this statuette including seasoned ishpingo, cedar and mahogany woods.

I have loved this piece since I first saw it. I purchased two other pieces from this amazing artist, for gifts, but this finally became available and it now hold a very special place in my home. "Such a beautiful wood carving!"
I cannot begin to say how beautiful this is! Several different shades of wood, highly polished and lifelike. It is quite a large piece and it looks beautiful in my living room. I have 3 dachshunds and this piece is so accurate! I highly recommend this sculpture!
