Sitting, she cradles her baby in one hand, her face in the other. Her thoughtful mood transpires through this extraordinary sculpture. Victoria Agyepomaa combines modern art with tradition in celebration of motherhood. The sculpture is carved by hand of sese wood with the torso missing and her dress painted blue and white.

"A cherished ornament"
I bought this as representative of my mom holding me, her only child. She had passes away a couple of years before. I have it on my coffee table, the first thing seen as you enter my home. The wood is so beautiful and the colors so nice, they were inspiration for wall colors and accent pieces. I polish it with Liquid Gold wood spray (aeresol, not bottled which is messy) and helps preserve the wood. I love my piece??

"Mom Loved It"
The item arrived in a timely fashion. The wrapping was quality and acceptable. When my mom opened it for Mothers Day, she and my wife immediately lit up!! According to my wife, I got an A, for gifting. Quality and appears is just as shown. I was surprised the size was appropriate; I was afraid it would be tiny.
