Using all-natural dyes derived from local plants such as walnut, Alberto Ruiz crafts a versatile area rug in the Oaxacan tradition. The rug is woven on a handloom from pure wool in subtle grey shades. "I only try to convey a little bit of the joy of living in this fair land," Ruiz says.
