Mexico Pre-Hispanic Style Signed Ceramic Shaman Sculpture, "Aztec Shaman"
Endowed with the power to observe what others cannot, the Mexica or Aztec shaman served as a sort bridge between both worlds — the physical world and the world of the spirit. Thus he developed the ability to cure illness of mind, heart and body. Working in ceramic, artisans from the Angel Ceron Artisan Association create an imaginary shaman in the ancient Mexica style. He wears a headdress and holds a skull, as he can envision the afterlife. On his shoulder, a large owl perches. Mictlantecuhtli, the Aztec god of death was often depicted with an owl.

"So Gorgeous !!!!"
This is my seventh sculpture by Angel Ceron, and every single one is amazing. I was hooked after the first one. But, I have no more room in my house . I dont know what I will do if I see another one that I must have. The detail and coloring are beyond what i expect every time. I treasure each piece , they are so precious to me.

This Astronomer is so colorful and detailed I cannot stop looking at it. It really is so beautiful ! This is my sixth sculpture from Angel, and every piece is just wonderfully beautiful. Made with such care . Thankyou !!!

This is my 6th sculpture by Angel, and this might be my favorite, so far. The detail of his face is gorgeous. It fits right in, in the spot I had in mind. Just cannot say enough about Angels work !!
