Mexican Hand Crafted Tin Christmas Bell Ornaments (set of 6), "The Town Bells"
Small town church bells ringing out a joyous Christmas carol are called to mind by this set of six artisan crafted tin bells from Mexico's Aida and Cristino Lavariega of Oaxaca. This type of metalwork used to be seen only in churches in Oaxaca de Juarez, the capital of the state of Oaxaca, principally in the form of images of saints or of the Virgin Mary. Only in more recent decades did artisans expand into other areas such as decorative pieces. The hand painted set includes three pink bells and three blue bells, each adorned with a star and with bands of contrasting pink, green, and yellow. An excellent holiday tree decoration, the set would also look lovely hung from the mantelpiece or in an entryway.

"Pretty but Problematic"
This item is very pretty, and I like the concept of a box with a window. However, Im disappointed that the corners are sharp enough to be a potential hazard. Ive put clear tape on them to reduce the risk when handling the object. As much as I like the appearance of the box, I probably would have returned it if I hadnt had to destroy the shipping box in order to unpack the item. It was very securely wrapped and packed!

"Not as expected"
