Mexican Geometric on Brown Zapotec Wool Area Rug (2.5x5), "Cycles of Life"
Shading from blue and green to orange and gold, ornate motifs alternate with tan to exalt their innate splendor. Irene Ruiz takes her inspiration from nature, creating this heirloom rug according to Zapotec tradition. She names it "Ciclos de vida" in Spanish.
Because each rug is individually woven on handlooms, measurements could vary +/- 3 cm (1 inch).
