Inspired by the Helm of Awe from ancient Norse iconography, Indian designer Shivani Choudhary creates a pendant that celebrates Hinduism. Spread out like a star, various depictions of the trishul, or trident of Lord Shiva, are realized in sterling silver with a combination of finishes. According to Hindu teachings, Shiva's trishul represents his dominion over the earth, sea, and sky, as well as his power to banish evil.
