About this Item

Crisp white cotton is dyed using the batik method, a resist-dyeing technique, to create the traditional sido asih motif in brown and black. Meaning "continuous love," sido asih is a motif originating in the Indonesian city of Surakarta. Hari and Arthur design the shirt while embracing unexpected results, which they says add to the uniqueness of his handcrafted textiles. The button-down shirt includes hidden coconut shell buttons and a chest pocket.
