The world's best handmade treasures
Backed by our 100% Happiness GuaranteeBoiled wool has a long history in outerwear made for life in the European Alps. This men's charcoal grey travel vest translates that tradition to the South American Andes, using a soft baby alpaca wool blend for a lightweight, naturally water- and wind-resistant garment. The zip-front vest features two front slash pockets and a chest pocket.

I am a USA Medium fit type. But this MED fits like a large - so oversized, especially in chest and arm holes. Will exchange for a SMALL. Fabric is lovely, soft, grey-hued melange but not the typical, densified (wind-resistant) type you often find in the alpine regions (Tyrol, Ger, Swiss). Fairly open weave will not feel as warm if worn alone over one or two shirt layers due to this textile parameter (air permeability is high, not low). But, buy it for the fashion and cosy-cabin vibe, not to ski or do an extended winter hike in.

Always been a fan of Alpaca, and this is the first time Ive taken the time to brouse the Novica offerings. I found this vest fit pretty much true to size. Great comfort, good warmth, and looking forward to using in the cooler parts of the year. Very well made and arrived quickly.

Nicely made, pleasant fabric, but runs a little large as others have noted. I always take an xl in sweaters but in this case I suspect a large would have been adequate.

I had the impression the collard was around the base of my neck but it is more of a Mao style collard! Sewed to lower it n I look sharper! Many would love higher collard! Print is unique !

I absolutely love the colors, pattern, and softness of this sweater. However, I am 53 and petite, so the Medium is ridiculously long on me. The cut is also a bit roomier than I would like for a piece like this. I considered taking it to a tailor to shorten it, but decided to cut my losses and return it. Too bad because if they offered this in something shorter, it would have been a favorite piece. Instead of showing this on a hanger, they should have a photo of a model wearing it.
