Men's Artisan Crafted Sterling Silver and Amethyst Ring, "Immortal Eclipse"
Hindu legends inspire Nyoman Rena in the impressive design of this ring. Crafted in sterling silver, the ring features the face and amethyst eyes of Kala Rau, said to cause the lunar eclipse. It is said that Kala Rau was offering mortals the elixir of immortality, known as Tirta Amerta, which he stole from the gods and goddesses. The Moon Goddess Ratih informed Vishnu, who threw his discus at Kala Rau to kill him. But since Kala Rau had just drunk the elixir and it was passing through his throat, even though he was beheaded, the only thing that survives in immortality is his head. It is said that now Kala Rau travels the skies in search of Ratih to exact his revenge. When he finds her, he tries to eat her, thus causing a lunar eclipse.

"Beautiful ring. Go up a size."
Such a pretty ring. Great for anyone who likes mythologies and fantasy. I got a US 7 but it definitely fits like a US 6. It works for my other fingers so that s not as issue.

"I do intend this to become a Much Cherished Heirloom!"
This ring represents a sense of fierce beauty to me! It has such character, and literally feels wonderful to the touch, as I sport it on my left hand. Excellent quality----and it looks wonderful on a a ladies hand! It is NOT chunky, and has such presence. One advantage of it being considered by its creator, to be a mans ring is that its offered in an extended range of sizes. Def a huge advantage since not all women have reed thin delicate fingers. Being human, some of us deal with arthritic fingers, and larger knuckles, and sometimes just simple heredity gives us shorter stubbier fingers. I love the tiny amethysts---they inspire me to ponder the thing of, what if there was the choice of red stones too? Not rubies necessarily but something bearable, cost wise, with a red tint. Suggesting such is just that I think it would give the ring more of an edgy look. I do wish all the ring creating jewelers here at Novica would follow Mr. Renas lead, via making extended sizes.

- I wear this ring ALL the time
- I wear this ring "almost" 24/7 with the exception of sleeping
- My stating that, should provide a clue!

"So beautiful!"
The moonstone butterfly earrings are dainty and beautiful. The scroll design on the butterfly is stunning. They are light to wear and the moonstone catches the light. These earrings will be worn often. I have purchased several pieces from Nyoman. His detail and workmanship is superb!
