Artisan Handmade Jade Pendant Bracelet, "Maya Protectress"
By Jorge Lopez, this bracelet depicts an ancient glyph in jade. Known as I'x, it is the animal nahual that connects humans with deities. The jaguar glyph is associated with the feminine energy that protects hills, valleys and mountains, according to the Maya. The pendant centers a black faux leather cord.
The etched image may fade somewhat over time, as a result of absorbing body oils and/or skincare products. Simply wash the pendant with soap and water and let it dry to refresh the design.
