Delivery EstimateFor this pair of traditional cuchimilco sculptures, Peruvian artisan Walter Jose Acosta draws inspiration from the ancient Chancay culture of South America. Crafted of ceramic, the sculptures depict a nude male and female that stand side-by-side, representing the duality of life that the Chancay held in high regard.

A great thank you to this artisan! I have recently discovered that Im genetically related to the Lady of Cao which has prompted in me much research on the Mochica culture. The symbolism of this stirrup pot is particularly significant to me. It was wrapped impeccably and arrived in flawless condition. It is absolutely breathtaking. ?? ??

SeƱor Acosta, your ceramic work is outstanding. A year or so ago, I bought your Bird hunting Fish ceramic, and told you I love it, but never found the place to review it. Now I have added your Lauging Moche Head, a replica of a Moche ceramic Ive seen photos of in the Metropolitan Museum, and your replica is absolutely perfect. Every one of the visitors to my home gets to see your wonderful work, and hear some things about the Moche. Thank you so much . Marsha
