Working in cool sterling silver, the Jimenez Family in Guatemala create this gorgeous pendant necklace. The artisans set the necklace with polished half-cylinders of natural "apple green" jade. To the ancient Maya, ya'ax chich (jade) was a sacred symbol of life, fertility and power, and was reserved for the aristocracy.

I love wearing this cross. People notice it and, for those who are interested, it starts conversations too. I can tell that it was lovingly made. Many thanks.

My wife loved these jade earrings. The stone color is a lovely green. And the silver work and craftmanship looks very high quality. They go well with a necklace that she also has from the same great artisan.
