Men come to blows in the courtyard of a church as a priest in cassock flees. Working in color, Pulika depicts a legend from northern Brazil. Migrating farmers seeking a plot of land settle illegally in the fertile Amazon valley. But a mythic personage known as Capa Verde (Green Cape) stops them. Pulika portrays the scene in a xylograph, or woodcut print involving four colors and two impressions. Titled "Vitória Sobre o Capa Verde" in Portuguese.
