Jaspe Handwoven Cotton Harem Pants in Blues and Purples, "Purple Arrows on Blue"
Woven by hand on a traditional loom, cotton reveals Guatemala's jaspe art in purple, blue and white. Jaspe is an ikat technique in which the threads are tie-dyed before placing them on the loom. The fabric becomes harem pants with a wide elasticized waist and more elastic at the ankles for a comfortable fit. "With this design, we want to draw attention to the beauty of jaspe," Merida Family artisans say.

"Lots of fun!"

I adore wrap skirts, and they can be difficult to find. This one is so much fun with its colorful patches. The fabric is lightweight and soft. I hope this artist offers more wrap skirts in different designs. Thanks for a well made product.

"Beautiful but too small"

Package arrived fast, well-packaged and pants are beautiful fabric and nicely made. Unfortunately, the sizing is way off. A L/XL is really the American equivalent of M/L. I wear between a 14 and 16 in most pants. These are decidedly on the 14 end. I can wear them but they are not harem pants loose, they are tight in crotch and hips. Very disappointing as I love them otherwise. Too much trouble to send back. But man, 75 bucks for too tight pants. Sigh. Will probably try to cut them open and add fabric to make a (probably weird looking) panel skirt. These pants are great if you are a small person. Just be advised that they run very small. I was afraid they would and should have gone with my instincts when I saw there were only 3 sizes.
