From the formal blooms found at Medici palaces to the tiny mountain flowers of the Aosta Valley, floral life has been a source of inspiration for Italian designers and artists since the days of the Roman Empire. Made in Treviso, a northern city famous for producing woolens, this jacket has an all-over floral pattern drawn from northern Italian wild flowers: alpen roses, wild pansies, martagon lilies, and genetians.

"Beautiful Floral Pattern"

The floral pattern caught my eye immediately; it is not over-powering. The medium size fit true to form. The material is a bit rough to the touch, but after all, it is 70% wool.
