Delivery EstimatePablo and Lucy Mendez of San Martin Tilcajete are a husband-and-wife team dedicated to carving the local copal wood (Bursera copallifera) into the capricious figures this town in the Mexican state of Oaxaca is famous for. This sculpture is alebrije-inspired, depicting a hummingbird flying to a barrel cactus to drink its nectar. Both hummingbirds and barrel cacti are common here.

"Absolutely perfect addition to my lighted branch tree"
I bought a lighted bare branch tree from a major retailer this Christmas. This beautiful ornament hangs perfectly and can be seen all the way around. It is such a colorful addition to this new tree. I hope to buy more next holiday season.
