Handwoven Striped Cotton Placemats (Set of 4) from Guatemala, "Splendid Contrast"
Vivid navy blue lines contrast with a crisp and clean ivory background in this set of four 100% cotton placemats designed by Guatemala's Laura Leticia Burrion. She crafts the dining accessories in collaboration with artisans from her community. "I consider myself lucky to be able to work hand-in-hand with the women in this team," says Laura. The hand-woven table linens are accented with very thin stripes in a buff tone and braided fringe on their ends.
